This entirely new concept of placing all the detector's electronics in the high-quality headphones leaves nothing on the unit's stem apart from the lightweight 8-inch 'MegaDEPTH' search coil. This is much more convenient than hipmount systems and, due to the use of miniaturized technology, the headset is no heavier than other quality-build headphones. The Head Hunter Wader, including its headset, is submersible to 6 feet. Being waterproof it is also weatherproof (and dirt- and dust-proof), which makes it perfect for all-year-round detecting in the surf, on the beach, and inland too!
