Are you looking for.... A highly sensitive, deep penetrating, lightweight, easy to use, exceptional discriminating and pinpointing detector?
Are you looking for.... An ultimate all-purpose detector? Minelab's treasure detectors are tailored to the specific needs of the coin, relic and jewellery hunting enthusiast and professional. The following will give you the superior performance and all important discrimination you need to succeed:
The digital displays can be very informative and help identify what you have detected. Some tell you the type of metal detected and even the depth. Displays are not for everyone so if a knobs and switches detector would suit you best then consider the Minelab Sovereign GT or the Detech EDS.
Most coils are waterproof and can be used in shallow water but if you would like to go diving or submerse the detector in the surf consider the Minelab Excalibur or Whites Surfmaster
If you are searching for gold you will need a higher frequency detector because these are most sensitive. Consider the Minelab X-Terra 705 Gold, Fisher Goldbug, Minelab Eureka Gold. The Minelab GPX5000 is the deepest and most sensitive detector and is ideal for gold detecting or going over those heavily worked out sites to find the missed deeper targets.
Worried you may not take to the hobby and the detector will end up at the back of the shed? Chances are you will become addicted to this great hobby. After all there are not many hobbies that give you the satisfaction of being the first person to hold an item that could be thousands of years old.
